Post-Exercise Recovery: Another study which discovered that milk is well-endowed for rehydration after a workout. Its electrolytes, carbs, and proteins can more effectively replace lost fluids and nutrients compared to water alone.

Day-to-Day Hydration: For day-to-day hydration throughout the whole day, water simply presents itself as a good, convenient option.
Is milk actually a better drink than water for hydration? Of course, evidence does show that milk can be quite an effective drink at times, say postexercise recovery or for added nutrition. But for plain hydration, water’s where it’s at. Ultimately it is one that comes down to your individual goals and preferences. You’ll be sure to be healthy and hydrated by taking in both.
